JOB DESCRIPTION

You will handle costing for products sold by Agropur. You will work with various parties within the organization to ensure deadlines are met and costs are accurate.

More specifically, the Cost Accounting Analyst:

  • Updates standard costs (production, cooling and warehousing operations);
  • Sets cost prices for new products;
  • Produces financial analysis and support the sales / marketing department in various project;
  • Integrates costing data into our activities based accounting software (Decimal);
  • Coordinates efforts to continually improve the management of costing related processes;
  • Contributes to the rollout and usage of the Oracle ERP software;
  • Several other related tasks may be added to this brief description.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting or related field;
  • Recognized accounting designation (CPA);Two (2) to four (4) years relevant experience;
  • Sound knowledge of activity based accounting;
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French and English;
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, Oracle, Discoverer);
  • Knowledge of Decimal program (an asset);
  • Able communicator and team player, also capable of working autonomously;
  • Highly driven to meet deadlines.
