Role Description The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Atlantic Paint & Flooring store in Langley, BC. This full-time, on-site role includes managing staff schedules, supervising sales activities, and ensuring an organized, well-stocked retail environment. The Store Manager drives customer satisfaction by supporting team members in delivering knowledgeable product guidance, efficient service, and strong follow-up on projects. Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, implementing retail loss prevention practices, tracking store performance metrics, and collaborating with leadership on sales strategies and promotional initiatives. The role also involves training and coaching team members, maintaining store standards, and resolving escalated customer concerns in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to lead store operations and teams, including Store Management and basic Retail Loss Prevention practices. Strong focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to positive in-store and project experiences. Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective listening. Previous experience in retail, home improvement, flooring, paint, or related industries is an asset. Proven ability to manage inventory, coordinate schedules, and meet sales and operational targets. Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems and store management software. Ability to work on-site full-time in Langley, BC and perform tasks that may require standing, walking, and light lifting. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is beneficial.
