Role Description The Senior Store Manager at Berre Furniture is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and ensuring a clean, organized showroom. This full-time, on-site role in Woodbridge, ON focuses on driving sales performance, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the purchasing and post-sales process. The Senior Store Manager monitors inventory levels, coordinates merchandising and product displays, and implements retail loss prevention procedures to protect company assets. This role also involves analyzing sales reports, setting team goals, coaching and developing team members, and collaborating with senior leadership on store strategies and initiatives. Qualifications Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to create a positive, engaging in-store experience. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with customers, coaching team members, and collaborating with management. Proven Store Management experience, including staff supervision, scheduling, and operational oversight in a retail environment. Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage and safeguard inventory. Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and use performance data to guide decisions. Solid organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience in furniture or home décor retail is an asset. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required. Post-secondary education in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
