Position Overview The Slot Cashier is directly responsible for the operations of the front window, transactions with the count room, and assisting with cart transfers as required by the Cage Supervisor. The slot cashier is to promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber patron service to all internal and external patrons of the Casino, while adhering to all rules and regulations set forth by the company, the department and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC). Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous banking or money handling experience preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Possess high-quality interpersonal skills and able to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing To logically and independently plan, organize, and complete tasks in a timely manner Ability to perceive quality of work, read material and review documents, receive/follow /apply instructions, perform basic math skills and use problem solving skills, remain vigilant in the event of an emergency Set and achieve high standards of performance and customer service skills Ability to stand for extended periods of time; bend, stoop or kneel as required Work with tools or equipment pertaining to job requirements Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull heavy objects of approximately 40 pounds GRAVE SHIFT IS REQUIRED 10:30PM TO 6:30AM We thank all applicants, however, only those considered for an interview will be contacted.No phone calls please. Requirements
A high school diploma and previous banking or money handling experience are preferred. Candidates must be able to work the grave shift (10:30 PM to 6:30 AM) and be physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
