We’re partnering with an established retail organization to recruit an experienced Store Manager to lead a busy retail location on the south side of Edmonton. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to drive sales, build a strong team and keep store operations running smoothly. You’ll have ownership over the customer experience, sales performance, inventory, merchandising, staffing and day-to-day operations of the location. What You’ll Be Doing Lead the overall day-to-day operations and performance of the store. Drive sales and develop strategies to increase revenue and average order value. Ensure the team consistently delivers a strong, customer-first experience. Monitor customer experience results and address opportunities for improvement. Ensure customer orders are prioritized and handled efficiently. Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee receiving processes. Ensure incoming products are processed accurately and ready for the sales floor. Maintain labour levels and scheduling in line with sales and operational needs. Oversee store merchandising, signage, displays, end-caps and overall appearance. Execute seasonal merchandising changes, promotions and special events. Recruit, onboard, coach and retain a strong retail team. Identify high-performing employees and create opportunities for training and development. Forecast staffing needs and adjust scheduling and recruitment based on store demand. Hold team members accountable to company policies, procedures and performance expectations. Manage formal and informal performance issues when required. Provide product knowledge training and ongoing coaching to the team. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, inclusion and mutual respect. What We’re Looking For 4+ years of retail management experience is preferred. Previous experience within powersports, automotive or sporting goods is required. Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, inventory management and merchandising. Experience recruiting, developing and performance-managing employees. Proven ability to lead a team and hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive working environment. Sales-focused with an understanding of how to improve store performance and profitability. Comfortable working hands-on and being highly visible on the sales floor. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable using retail systems and computer-based programs.
