Role Description The Sales Associate role at Ben Moss Jewellers is a part-time, on-site position based in Lloydminster, AB. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through jewellery selections while providing accurate product information and care instructions. The Sales Associate will handle sales transactions, maintain visual merchandising standards, and ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming. This role also involves meeting sales goals, participating in promotional activities, and supporting inventory processes such as receiving, tagging, and stock counts. The Sales Associate will work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and uphold company policies and procedures. Qualifications Customer service and client relationship skills, including active listening and a friendly, professional demeanor. Sales and retail skills such as product demonstration, upselling, and working toward individual and store targets. Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and the ability to build trust with diverse customers. Basic math and point-of-sale (POS) skills for handling cash, card transactions, and reconciling sales. Attention to detail and organizational skills for visual merchandising, stock management, and maintaining store presentation. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a retail environment. Previous experience in retail, jewellery, or luxury goods sales is an asset but not mandatory. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or customer service is considered an advantage.
