JOB MISSION As part of the New Balance retail leadership team, the part-time Retail Team Lead assists with duties such as opening/closing the store, driving results and delivering a world class experience for our guests. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES * Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates * Be results-driven in achieving our store key performance indicators through training and development of our associates * Deliver a great guest experience utilizing our GUEST service model * Opening/closing the store * Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS * * 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred * High school diploma or equivalent educational experience * Demonstrated leadership ability * Strong customer service and verbal communication skills * Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays * Ability to: lift 4 lbs. frequently; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location) Ottawa, Canada Retail Only Pay Range: $18.11 - $27.17 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.) The Retail Team Lead is responsible for opening and closing the store while driving results through the training and development of associates. They must maintain a positive leadership presence on the sales floor to deliver a world-class guest experience.

Candidates should ideally have 2 years of retail supervisory experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The role requires strong communication skills and the physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
