Looking to take your Grocery Cashier experience to the next level?  We have a Store Systems Specialist position.  You are the first point of contact for grocery store systems support and file maintenance. You assist with training in front-end and file maintenance and provide user resolutions or direct inquiries to the appropriate department. Other project includes system upgrades, store opening and flips.

Scope of Authority

  • POS Systems training, and documentation.
  • File Maintenance and cashier policies and procedures
  • Uniforms, name tags, store supplies

Breadth of Responsibilities

  • Provide timely assistance to store systems inquiries, direct calls to appropriate department as needed
  • Assist user with systems application support and refer technical issues to the POS Support team
  • Effectively identify and solve issues related to file maintenance, and cashier functions
  • Assist with developing training manuals/packages and administering training workshops
  • Develop and maintain POS and file maintenance procedural manuals (SOPs)
  • Coordinate new system rollout schedule with stores
  • Assist with coordinating overall review for store closings, openings, or owner changes to ensure up-to-date file maintenance paperwork, POS hardware and software inventory, and full functionality of all store operations systems
  • Order new store uniforms in collaboration with the Marketing Team and name tags for Head Office staff as required
  • Deal with store suppliers if a store has issues, or arrange for a new store opening.
  • To pull and assist DM's with any updates or reports. To look into anything that they require from the store.
  • To teach or answer any payroll questions.
