It starts with the planet and the people that tend and raise the food we eat. It ends on your table, delicious, healthy, cost-effective, and high quality. Our client, a food-tech company, founded on a mission to nourish people at a lower cost, a better value, and a greater selection, has a vision to bring the best to your kitchens. As they scale, they are looking for new team members who share their passion for food, customer experience, and quality.
The opportunity
Our client is looking for a Store Manager to lead, train, and guide the work of an eCommerce fulfillment team in a 6-8K sq. ft facility. You will prioritize productivity and safety to ensure customers receive the highest quality product and have a seamless experience.
You will support their eCommerce business by fulfilling all orders, ensuring the correct products are picked, packed, and shipped according to customer needs.
A small portion of each shift will be spent overseeing and assisting with filling orders and moving stock in/out of cold storage walk-in space. Of course, it can be cold, even if for a few mins per shift, but you will be provided with the right gear to stay warm!
If you want to be part of an innovative food tech company where you can grow your career in management, eCommerce, distribution, supply chain, and operations, and beyond, this is the role to consider.
What’s in it for you
Operational, culinary, and functional training. You will participate in eight weeks of paid orientation sessions covering everything from company culture and brand to people management processes as well as food-focused training with the corporate head chef.
Stability and flexibility. You will be the newest people leader at a financially stable, flourishing brand with a robust US presence, embarking on a new launch in Canada. You will have the opportunity to apply your customer service standards in an eCommerce environment without direct customer interaction.
Career growth. Starting with the company early on, you will rapidly become a cross-trained subject matter expert. You will expand your leadership skills, manage teams and the fulfillment store, and gain insights into eCommerce. You will have an opportunity to introduce ideas and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. You will be optimally positioned to move up and over into other areas of supply chain and logistics as operations grow.
