The eCommerce Specialist manages the ongoing workflow of the lodging ecommerce business and promotion to increase its utilization by our various customers and partners. This position is also responsible for adding/maintaining products, webstore upgrades and feature enhancements, the accuracy of product listed, analyzing store sales, managing approved promotions and discounts, maintain customer accounts, provide webstore support for our various departments and managing the flow of all webstore products through the supply chain.



  • Update product catalog information and content on the webstores (simple and configurable products) including exploded view parts diagrams 
  • Manage webstore configuration & parameters (e.g. payment options, stock management, shipping, customer classes)
  • Responsible for managing the store's structure (images, banners, promotions, navigation, CSS, etc.)
  • Investigate and report any operational/technical issues arising including proper ERP order integrations 
  • Scope and document ongoing webstore functional projects (improvements/upgrades)
  • Test and deploy functional webstore projects (improvements/upgrades)
  • Evaluate approaches & strategies to improve website sales conversions & customer engagement


  • Understand and develop sources of traffic (& the factors that influence it): email, SEO, PPC, affiliates, social media, catalogues etc
  • Work collaboratively with various dormakaba teams to implement and support the store's needs with new products and configurators, promotional campaigns and other enhancements to increase our customer engagement 
  • Investigate, evaluate and assess new ways of generating additional traffic/orders 
  • Produce reports to analyze the performance of all online marketing campaigns and promotions (via reports, Google Analytics reports, surveys etc.)


  • To meet and exceed all agreed performance objectives (sales, conversions, $ per order) • Continuous improvement of customer satisfaction
  • Meet internal service levels for website activity and management
  • Maintaining an excellent level of service to the business 

Job Requirements
•2-5 years of experience with ecommerce retail or web marketing
•College degree in Marketing, web ecommerce technologies or Business Administration or strong experience pertinent experience related to this position 
•Good proficiency in Excel for product and product variant data management (when required)
•Strong knowledge of Photoshop, CSS, HTML and related web technologies
• Excellent communication skills; collaborative with effective interpersonal skills; able to work across departments in a team environment
•Understanding of the technical disciplines required to drive traffic and increase customer engagement 
•Understanding of order management/customer fulfilment in an e-commerce context
•Project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
•Perfectly bilingual, oral and written (English / French, Spanish is an asset) 
•Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, reference verification and background check
