***Note: This role is based in Montreal and is responsible for supporting the retail stores in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario (7 stores in total).
Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results. Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing store managers and Staffers
Strategic Planning: Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. Experience analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
Sales Management: Demonstrated track record of driving sales performance and exceeding targets. Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement initiatives to maximize sales and profitability.
Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and store operations. Experience implementing processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to anticipate customer needs, resolve issues promptly, and create a positive shopping experience for customers.
Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial metrics and KPIs. Ability to analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, store teams, and external partners.
Leads, Develops and Inspires People: Demonstrates the ability to develop and implement plans to maximize staffer performance, while balancing empathy. Fosters high ethical standards in meeting MEC's vision, mission, purpose, and goals.
