Description

The manager is responsible for the planning, direction, organization and control of all operations, as well as management of the branch’s human resources, in collaboration with the pharmacist owner.

The manager performs the supply and marketing of the store so as to optimize the quality of the products and services requested by consumers. The manager motivates employees to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the operational activities of the pharmacy
• Comply with the operational standards of the pharmacy
• Ensure exemplary customer service
• Hire the staff necessary for the smooth operation of the pharmacy
• Supervise work groups, and provide training and evaluation of staff
• Manage the budget of the branch
• Ensure that the sales objectives of the branch are achieved
• Ensure that operational standards are maintained

Requisite skills and knowledge:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in management
• Good knowledge of pharmacy operations
• Thorough understanding of merchandising standards and the ability to execute them
• Proven ability to direct and manage the staff, leadership
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly-developed sense of customer service
• Computer skills
