Role Description The Assistant Visual Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Tsawwassen, BC, responsible for supporting the implementation of Banana Republic’s visual merchandising standards. This role assists in styling mannequins and displays, ensuring that product presentation aligns with brand guidelines and seasonal stories. The Assistant Visual Manager helps plan and execute floor sets, maintains visual signage and fixtures, and supports daily replenishment and product placement to optimize the customer experience. This role collaborates closely with store leadership and sales associates, provides guidance on visual execution, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and visually compelling store environment. The position may also involve monitoring sales trends, offering feedback on visual strategies, and contributing to a culture of customer-focused, brand-right presentation. Qualifications Visual merchandising and retail styling skills, including experience creating compelling displays and mannequins that reflect brand standards. Knowledge of fashion trends, product assortment, and brand storytelling, with the ability to translate assortments into cohesive in-store visuals. Strong organizational and time-management skills to support floor set execution, prioritization of tasks, and adherence to deadlines. Collaborative communication skills for working effectively with store leaders and team members in a fast-paced retail environment. Comfort with physical aspects of the role, including lifting, moving fixtures, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods. Previous retail, visual merchandising, or fashion-related experience preferred. Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
