About the role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting. Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers. Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat. Wrap and package prepared meats. Remove bones from meat. Weigh meats for sale. Cut poultry into parts. Price meat products. Clean and prepare fish and shellfish. Sell meats to customers. Cut fish into steaks and fillets. Grind meats. Make special sausages. Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Supports for visible minorities: Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
