Job Description

We’re looking for a Store Service Manager (Logistics) to play a key role in ensuring product moves efficiently from our Distribution Centers to stores across Canada, helping deliver an exceptional experience for both customers and store teams. In this high-impact leadership position, you’ll oversee all aspects of outbound flow and visibility with a 3–12-month planning horizon, while driving process improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance. You’ll serve as the primary escalation point for the most critical store issues nationwide, using your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to improve labor management and accelerate the speed of product to the sales floor. What You’ll Do

Lead the strategy and execution of outbound merchandise flow across TJX Canada’s network, ensuring products move efficiently from Distribution Centers to Stores nationwide. Drive exceptional service for Stores and District Managers by balancing customer needs, operational priorities, and supply chain efficiency. Serve as the key escalation point for complex logistics and store service challenges, identifying solutions that minimize disruption and support store sales performance. Partner with carriers, 3PL providers, and cross-functional teams to optimize transportation performance, resolve delivery issues, and enhance service levels. Oversee daily outbound operations, proactively managing shipment visibility, delivery exceptions, and transportation risks to ensure a seamless flow of product to Stores. Lead strategic initiatives including peak season planning, inventory programs, new Store openings, and Store relocations to support business growth and operational excellence. Analyze performance metrics and operational trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimization, and cost savings. Build strong relationships with Store Operations leaders, District Managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver solutions that support store profitability and an exceptional customer experience. Collaborate with partners across the business, including Loss Prevention and Store Operations, to reduce risk and simplify store processes. Coach, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, innovation, and continuous improvement. Champion data-driven decision-making and operational excellence, leveraging insights and analytics to improve service, efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.

About You

5+ years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, distribution, or a related operational environment. 2+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and leading high-performing teams. Strong knowledge of transportation, distribution, and store delivery operations, with the ability to balance service, cost, and operational efficiency. Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and partner effectively across all levels of an organization. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience managing performance, developing talent, and driving engagement. Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate complex situations, leverage data, and make sound business decisions. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions. Experience leading projects, managing change, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. High degree of professionalism, judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and experience with transportation, logistics, or supply chain systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. CITT designation or another professional transportation or logistics certification. Experience with transportation management, visibility, or distribution network systems.
