Retail Area Manager (Atlantic Region – Halifax & New Brunswick)
About the role
MINISO Canada is currently expanding and we are looking for a Retail Area Manager to support stores across the Atlantic region, primarily covering Halifax (Nova Scotia) and New Brunswick (NB).
Major Responsibilities: Ensure all assigned stores operate efficiently and in full compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures
Develop and manage budgets, sales targets, and KPIs for each store in the Atlantic region
Recruit, train, coach, and develop store managers and retail associates
Oversee daily store operations and conduct regular store visits to ensure consistent execution and performance
Monitor and manage inventory levels, product distribution, and store merchandising standards
Analyze store performance and implement strategies to improve sales, profitability, and operational efficiency
Prepare and review reports, including sales performance, labour costs, and operational metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, merchandising, HR) to ensure smooth business operations
Manage labour scheduling, control operating expenses, and optimize cost efficiency
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably managing multiple store locations
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Eligible to work in Canada
Strong leadership skills with a results-driven mindset
Excellent merchandising and store execution capabilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a geographically dispersed region
A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required
Willingness to travel frequently between Halifax and New Brunswick locations
