About the role

The salary range for this position is $42,400 - $45,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. The Assistant Manager, Tim Hortons will be responsible for overseeing the unit while working with the Manager and team to successfully manage residential dining operations.

 

Now, if you were to come on board as our Assistant Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

 

  • Help the Manager oversee dining operations.
  • Train, develop and lead a team of associates capable of providing great customer service.
  • Lead all phases of food preparation, operation planning and expenditures, budgeting, costing and maintaining proper inventory levels.
  • Recruit, hire, schedule and perform general administrative duties.
  • Ensure excellent client relationships and client satisfaction with the service and menu options.
  • Monitor and organize catering orders with weekly invoicing.
  • Perform administrative duties, including cash register readings, orbit, inventory, banking, ordering and the administration of the “Be a Star Program.”
  • Be accountable for client and customer relationship building
  • Ensure strict compliance of Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Programs
  • Initiate frequent workplace inspections and WHMIS training of all staff and effectively manage all.
