Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-time Hardware Clerk (Gas Bar Focus) at our Home Centre location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Gas Bar Supervisor, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Demonstrate the behaviours and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
  • Provide Legendary Service through various touch points and communication channels.
  • Provide pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to lottery, tobacco, wine, spirits, and beer.
  • Receive, price, and display merchandise, as required as specified by the team leader.
  • Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

  • You are honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
  • You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • You have customer service experience, especially within the CRS would be considered an asset.
  • You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
  • You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • You must be willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certification.
