Job Summary Our client, a leading global consumer brand, is seeking a Front-End Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to support the design, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of their e-commerce storefront. This role is focused on front-end development within the SFCC ecosystem, delivering high-quality, performant, and responsive customer experiences across web and mobile devices.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain front-end components for Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefronts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Implement and customize SFCC storefront frameworks (SFRA), including templates, components, and UI assets. Translate UX/UI designs into responsive, accessible, and high-performance e-commerce experiences. Collaborate closely with back-end SFCC developers, designers, and product teams to deliver new features and enhancements. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and adherence to front-end best practices. Support ongoing releases, hotfixes, and deployment cycles within the SFCC environment. Participate in code reviews and contribute to reusable front-end patterns and standards. Troubleshoot front-end issues related to storefront behavior, styling, and client-side logic.
Required Skills Hands-on experience developing front-end solutions in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including responsive layouts), and modern JavaScript (ES6 ). Experience working with SFRA, ISML templates, and client-side controllers. Familiarity with front-end build tools, version control (Git), and deployment workflows. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured front-end code. Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional Agile teams.
Preferred Skills Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks in e-commerce contexts. Familiarity with performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices. Exposure to headless or composable commerce architectures. Prior experience working with global consumer or retail brands.
Required Experience 4–6 years of professional front-end development experience, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms.
