Part-Time Sales Associate Location: Rugs 4 Home – Brantford, ON Rugs 4 Home is looking for a motivated and experienced Part-Time Sales Associate to join our Brantford showroom. We are seeking someone with strong sales skills, a passion for home décor and the ability to provide excellent customer service while maintaining the day-to-day operations of the store. This role requires responsibility, trustworthiness and the ability to independently open and close the showroom.

Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting area rugs that fit their needs and style. Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service. Achieve sales goals and contribute to overall store growth. Open and close the store independently, including cash handling and daily reconciliation. Hold and manage a store key responsibly. Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization and visual merchandising standards. Ensure rugs and displays are presented neatly and attractively. Assist with inventory management, receiving stock and restocking displays. Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems. Monitor store operations and report any issues to management.

Qualifications Previous retail sales experience (home décor, furniture, or rug sales is an asset). Strong communication and customer service skills. Proven ability to close sales and build customer trust. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. Comfortable handling store opening and closing procedures. Trustworthy with access to store keys and cash handling responsibilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move rugs when needed. Flexible availability, including weekends. Must be able to carry a maximum of 120 lbs
