Now we’re looking for a passionate, hands-on Prepared Foods Manager to lead one of the busiest and most exciting departments in our stores. From chef-crafted meals and fresh grab-and-go offerings to soups, salads, sandwiches, and hot table programs — this role is ideal for someone who thrives in food retail operations and loves building high-performing teams.

What you’ll do

• Lead the daily operations of the Prepared Foods Department in a fast-paced retail environment
• Oversee food quality, freshness, merchandising, and presentation standards
• Manage ordering, inventory, shrink, labour, and department profitability
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a positive team culture
• Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health & safety standards are maintained
• Support production planning and execution to meet sales and volume demands
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support a hospitality-driven culture
• Jump into operations as needed — this is a hands-on leadership role

What we’re looking for

• Previous leadership experience in prepared foods, grocery, hospitality, catering, or food production
• Strong understanding of food operations, inventory control, and merchandising
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask and lead effectively in a high-volume environment
• Food Handler Certification is considered an asset
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as required
• A genuine passion for food and delivering an outstanding customer experience
