About the role

Grand Touring Automobiles is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to join our team at our stores in Calgary.

As part of one of Canada’s leading luxury automotive groups, this position is ideal for a polished and driven professional who takes pride in delivering an elevated ownership experience while supporting a high-performing service team. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset reflective of the Grand Touring standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the daily operations of the service department while maintaining the highest standards of customer care and professionalism.

Assist the Service Manager in achieving departmental performance goals, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction targets.

Lead, motivate, and support service advisors and department staff to ensure a premium client experience at every touchpoint.

Coordinate workflow and shop productivity while ensuring repairs and services are completed efficiently and accurately.

Handle customer concerns and escalations with professionalism, urgency, and discretion.

Review repair orders for accuracy, quality, and completeness while maintaining attention to detail.

Work collaboratively with technicians, parts personnel, and management to ensure seamless department operations.

Ensure all dealership policies, procedures, and manufacturer standards are upheld consistently.

Support the training, development, and performance management of service department staff.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment that reflects the standards of the Grand Touring brand.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience as a service advisor or assistant management role is required.

Strong understanding of automotive service department operations and customer relationship management.

Experience with CDK/One-Eighty is an asset.

Experience within the luxury automotive industry is preferred.

Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Professional appearance and demeanor with a commitment to delivering elevated customer experiences.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
