Drive accountability, collaboration, customer service, and safety in alignment with company values. Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, operational consistency, and an exceptional customer experience. Champion Cooper’s safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Partner with the People & Culture Team on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting branch growth and retention. Oversee inventory and fleet utilization, ensuring equipment is rental-ready through effective shop flow and operational coordination; recommend fleet adjustments as needed. Manage branch financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, expense control, and monthly P&L reviews. Collaborate across departments to improve processes, drive solutions, and support company-wide initiatives. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Represent the company through networking, industry events, and community engagement. What You’ll Bring to the Team Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within construction equipment rentals, construction, or a related industry, including at least 2 years of leadership experience. Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points). A current driver’s abstract will be required upon request. Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of construction equipment, rental operations, and fleet management principles. Excellent customer relationship management, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative, accountable, and solutions-focused approach. Highly adaptable, organized, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain professional under pressure. Strong business acumen, including experience managing budgets, reviewing P&Ls, and supporting operational growth. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word; Power BI and Systematics experience are assets.
