About the role

We are currently seeking a Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a museum store and lead a team of approximately ten employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule employee shifts and ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Manage cash operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving business objectives.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, receiving, and merchandising activities.
- Ensure the store’s visual presentation and product displays are maintained to a high standard.
- Perform any other related duties.

Requirements
- Strong spoken French communication skills.
- College diploma (DEC) in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of management experience in a retail, bookstore, or similar sales environment.
- Proven experience supervising, coaching, and motivating a team.
- Strong sense of autonomy and accountability.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with staff scheduling and workforce planning.
- Strong organizational and priority-management skills.
- Leadership qualities, autonomy, and excellent communication skills.
Salary: $26–$28 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Day shift, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Status: Long-term position
