Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brampton, ON. This position is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including supervising team members, managing inventory, merchandising products, and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe store environment. The Store Manager will drive customer satisfaction by supporting staff in delivering excellent customer service, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining high standards of product knowledge. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring sales performance, implementing promotional activities, managing cash handling and store opening/closing procedures, and enforcing retail loss prevention measures. The Store Manager will also assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching team members to meet store targets and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service abilities. Candidates should possess effective interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written Communication. Candidates should possess operational retail skills, including Store Management experience and familiarity with daily store processes. Candidates should possess basic Retail Loss Prevention knowledge and an understanding of cash handling and inventory controls. Candidates should ideally have prior experience in retail management, preferably in grocery, health food, or similar environments. Candidates should demonstrate leadership skills, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management. Candidates should be comfortable working on-site, standing for extended periods, and performing light physical tasks such as stocking and merchandising. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is an asset. Candidates should be proficient with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
