Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Provide product information, demonstrate features, and answer customer inquiries
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
• Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing adjustments, and inventory management
• Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
• Support store management in supervising staff, training new employees, and coordinating team efforts
• Participate in marketing initiatives to promote products and store events
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities

Experience

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, merchandising, and POS operations
• Supervising or team management experience is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
• Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Familiarity with retail management tasks such as budgeting, payroll, training & development, and bookkeeping is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills are essential
• Prior experience with marketing strategies, interviewing potential staff, or administrative responsibilities will be considered an asset
