Role Description This full-time Esthetician role is an on-site position located in Halifax, NS. The Esthetician will perform a variety of beauty services such as threading, waxing, tinting, lash extensions, brow laminations, and basic skin care treatments in accordance with company standards. Daily responsibilities include greeting clients, conducting consultations, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring a clean, sanitary work area. The role also involves educating clients on aftercare, promoting products and services, processing payments, and contributing to a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Estheticians are expected to follow health and safety guidelines, work collaboratively with team members, and support overall store operations. Qualifications Proficiency in hair removal techniques and cosmetology services, including threading, waxing, and related treatments. Strong knowledge of skin care practices, including basic facials, product recommendations, and aftercare guidance. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen to client needs, and maintain a professional, inclusive environment. Comfort with sales activities, including recommending services, promoting retail products, and meeting service or sales targets. Relevant esthetics or cosmetology certification or diploma, and compliance with any applicable provincial licensing requirements. Ability to work on-site full time, including weekends and peak mall hours, and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, hygiene, and safety, with the ability to follow company protocols and industry standards. Previous experience in a salon, spa, or beauty bar environment is an asset; multilingual abilities are considered an advantage.
