Zumiez Intercity is looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our team in Thunder Bay, ON. As Store Manager, you will take ownership of the overall success of the store by leading and developing your team, driving sales performance, maintaining operational excellence, and creating an engaging customer experience. We are looking for a leader who brings energy, accountability, competitiveness, and a genuine passion for developing others. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating store environment Provide ongoing feedback and development to help employees reach their potential Build and develop future leaders within the store Sales & Performance Drive sales and profitability by setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable Analyze store performance and identify opportunities to improve results Lead the team in delivering an exceptional customer experience Motivate and recognize employees for strong performance Operations Oversee daily store operations and ensure company standards are consistently executed Maintain accurate inventory and support effective inventory management Execute merchandising, floor sets, and company initiatives Ensure the store is organized, safe, and ready to deliver an excellent customer experience What We're Looking For 1–3 years of retail experience, including previous leadership or management experience Proven ability to recruit, train, teach, and develop employees Strong sales and customer service skills A competitive, energetic, and goal-oriented approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays A passion for building teams and creating a positive store culture Why Join Zumiez?
