The Supervisor, Inventory Integrity will support retail operations by performing scheduled and Ad Hoc cycle counts & analysis to improve inventory accuracy. The Inventory Integrity team will conduct daily cycle counts, conduct the first level analysis on overages and shorts, and update store leadership depending on variance value. The Supervisor will monitor store inventory reports and provide inventory reconciliation updates to store leadership. The Supervisor will also provide cycle count and inventory management training to other store associates as required.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Partners with Operations Manager, Loss Prevention Manager, and SSC Operations Team to plan and executing the scheduled cycle counts for the store
  • Proactively identifies trends in inventory results and schedules cycle counts when appropriate
  • Execute cycle counts with the support of the Inventory Integrity Associate
  • Lead, coach and develop and the Inventory Integrity Associate to understand how to investigate discrepancies after completing the cycle count
  • Proactively identifies trends in cycle count results, presents findings and develops action plans in partnership with the Inventory Integrity Associate for presentation to store leadership
  • Supports workflow within team to ensure timely completion of cycle counts and follow-up for resolution
  • Partners with Sellers and Sales Leaders (Sales Manager, Group Sales Manager, etc) to share results and develop specific action plans related to results from cycle counts
  • Lead the co-ordination of resolving outstanding operational tasks impacting inventory integrity (ie. aged in transit, outstanding CTS, unprocessed ecomm returns)
  • Maintain documentation following cycle counts or adjustments as per process
  • Provide weekly cycle count updates to Operations Manager, Loss Prevention Manager & General Manager
  • Supports with various inventory investigations and analysis (i.e. negative on-hand report, hand keyed report, etc.)
  • Provide inventory management task-specific coaching and training to employees for cycle counts, inventory counts, and inventory dispute resolution
  • Participate in national / SSC workshops on sharing learning and developing best practices
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5+ years retail experience, with specific knowledge in inventory awareness (receiving of goods, stock movements, inventory counts, sales)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience in a supervisor capacity
  • Strong attention to details and comfort in completing repetitive tasks
  • Comfortable with inventory math, excel, & outlook
  • Experience with SAP ECC, FIORI, & CTS App a plus

The measures of success:

  • Improved inventory accuracy based on comparison YOY and improvements by department
  • Number of Cycle Counts conducted aligns with planned number of counts
  • Action plans were designed and executed to address problem areas
  • Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals
  • Feedback from internal and external clients
