What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • This position is responsible for providing actionable insights to the Logistics Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams by providing in-depth and complex financial analysis on a variety of ad hoc reporting and data requisitions. It is also responsible for oversight and analytical support of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, forecasts, and cross-functional business partnering as required.
  • Responsible for providing in-depth financial analysis on a variety of ad hoc reporting and data requests.
  • Builds complex financial models and scenario plans focused on maximizing results and minimizing risks to support Logistics decision making.
  • Develops and presents data, forward-focused trends, and insightful findings for presentation to senior management.
  • Provides oversight of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports and forecasts to ensure accuracy; collaborates on budgeting and accounting processes as required.
  • Creates and maintains Logistics finance dashboards that pull real-time information into user-friendly dashboards.
  • Develops processes to streamline financial activities and KPI’s between Logistics, Distribution Centers (DCs), and Financial Control groups.
  • Acts as a point-of-contact and subject matter expert on behalf of Logistics finance on cross-functional projects and optimization initiatives.

What you’ll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • A post-secondary education in related field (i.e. Finance and Accounting, Business/Economics, Statistics).
  • A related professional designation (i.e. CPA, CFA, MBA) is considered an asset; in-progress designations will be considered.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional Accounting or Financial Analysis experience, including knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis best practices; the ability to apply knowledge of GAAP to develop and lead tactical initiatives, providing forward-focused financial insights.
  • Previous experience supporting Logistics and/or Suplpy Chain operations is preferred.
  • Proven analytical & problem-solving skills, including analysis of complex information and research skills with knowledge of database design and manipulation concepts.
  • Strong self-started with the ability to work in a detail-oriented, multi-project environment while meeting tight and fixed deadlines; ability to work independently, estimate the time required to complete projects and keep appropriate team members informed on progress.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel), Power BI, Power Query, and SharePoint; experience with accounting software, ERP databases, and data manipulation tools (i.e. Oracle, TM1, Monarch) is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $73,190 - $102,410

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
