Reporting to the Manager – Human Rights, as an Investigator you will review, assess, investigate and resolve complex complaints from employees and customers regarding alleged contraventions of TTC policies and procedures, including but not limited, to the Respect and Dignity Policy, Workplace Violence Policy, and Accommodation in the Workplace Policy. To this end, you will conduct interviews, gather evidence, research, make findings of fact, and draft reports. You will also ensure that investigations are completed in a fair, thorough and timely manner. Where appropriate, you will conduct mediations and facilitate other methods of conflict resolution.
As an advisor, you will provide guidance and assistance to all levels of TTC management, staff, and employees on a wide variety of human rights, accommodation, accessibility, and workplace violence related issues. You will also develop, review and deliver education on human rights policies and legislative requirements. You will be required to participate in the TTC’s Customer Service Ambassador Program.
