Accounts Receivable Clerk, maternity leave replacement

The collection agent is responsible for collecting accounts receivable from the stores assigned to him/her in accordance with the standards and policies established by the Credit Department of UAP Inc.

  • Collecting accounts receivable from customers of centralized stores. Proceed with the daily follow-up of past due accounts; calls, visits from customers or managers and collection letters.
  • Ensure the credibility of customers by conducting the necessary investigations and according to company policies. Analyze the credit file for approval of new customers, make a recommendation according to authorization levels. Provide modifications to the computer system to keep it up to date. Prepare updates of delinquent customers to the various corporate store managers.
  • Document delinquent accounts to the Credit Supervisor in order to facilitate the decision to refer the file to UAP Head Office.
  • Follow up on customer claims in order to confirm that credit notes are issued, customer disputes and adjustments to accounts receivable are made.


  • College diploma (administration and finance)
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and credit
  • Proficient with Word, Excel and TAMS software (asset)
  • Bilingualism - French and English
